ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Investment Strategy for Airport Growth:

o Develop and execute investment strategies for airport expansions, modernization, and infrastructure projects.

o Identify and evaluate high-impact investment opportunities, including public-private partnerships (PPPs), joint ventures, and concession agreements.

o Align investment initiatives with regulatory frameworks, environmental sustainability goals, and passenger experience enhancements.

• Infrastructure and Capital Project Oversight:

o Oversee the planning and funding of large-scale airport infrastructure projects, such as terminals, runways, cargo facilities, and transportation links.

o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet operational and safety standards.

o Work closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to optimize resource allocation.

• Risk Management and Compliance:

o Manage financial risks associated with airport investments, including market, credit, and operational risks.

o Ensure compliance with international aviation standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies.

o Monitor and mitigate environmental, social, and economic risks in investment projects.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:

o Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, investors, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.

o Lead negotiations for investment agreements, financing arrangements, and long-term leases.

o Represent the organization in key forums, conferences, and regulatory discussions.

• Market Analysis and Revenue Optimization:

o Conduct market research to identify trends in passenger growth, cargo demand, and airline partnerships.

o Develop strategies to maximize non-aeronautical revenue streams, such as retail, parking, and real estate development.

o Prepare financial models and forecasts to guide investment decisions.

• Leadership and Team Development:

o Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team focused on investment analysis, planning, and implementation.

o Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the investment team.

o Act as a key advisor to the executive team on investment opportunities and challenges.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS• Must be an Omani National

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in business management, business development, corporate finance, infrastructure development or a related field (preferably in the Aviation/Airport Sector)
